If you have greater than 4GB of memory the OSX boot will fail and the machine powers off before you have time to read the failure message. Took me a long time to work out why. I've just stumbled across your blog and after being blown away by Mac OSX on my macbook pro I've decided to Hackintosh my desktop pc. <br /><br />I've got the Gigabyte GA-X58A-UD3R Mobo, but I have a i7 930 and a 64 GB SSD as my main bootdrive with a secondary 1TB SATA as my data drive.
